Emmy Awards

___The Emmy Awards are given in the category of television. The awards are voted by the members of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. The award is in the form of a statuette.

Anne has been nominated five times for the Emmy Award and has won two out of
those five times.
    1970 - Anne Won the Emmy Award for Outstanding Variety or Musical program for her telivision special Annie, the Women in the Life of a Man(1970). She shared this award with the Joseph Cates (executive producer) and Martin Charnin (producer).

    1992 - Anne was nominated for two Emmy Awards this year:
    -Outstanding Lead Actress in a Miniseries or Special for her portrayal
    of Lillian Cage in Mrs. Cage(1992)
    -Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Miniseries or Special for her
    portrayal of Kate Jerome in Neil Simon's Broadway Bound(1992)

    1994 - Anne was nominated for an Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Miniseries or Sepcial for her portrayal of Lucy Marsden(Age 99-100) in The Oldest Living Confederate Widow Tells All(1994)

    1999 - Anne Won the Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Miniseries or Movie for her Portrayal of Gerry Cummins in Deep in My Heart(1999)

    2001 - Anne was nominated for the Emmy Award for Outstanting Supporting Actress in a Miniseries or Movie for her portrayal of Mamma Gruber in Haven(2001)
